#throwback: Visit to Punggol Promenade

#throwback
#exactly2yearsago

On 9 July 2012 evening, the boys all made a trip to Punggol Promenade when it was initially opened. More of like a T.O.P. for the public's access. It was a rather long walk and I could barely remember if I joined them.

I must say that it was a great effort by the NEA (I presumed is the appropriate authority for such set up) to set up such a wonderful park for the North-Easterners. Although the plants then were young, in time to come, they would provide wonderful shade for the park visitors. Should make an attempt to visit the place again.

Ashton was really tiny then. I think he probably could barely speak... Cayden was rounder then but he is much much taller and slimmer now. :)

The only thing Ashton probably
said most was "What's that?".

POWER RANGERS!

Gor Gor look at me, I am
Power Ranger too!

How fun! We are all Power Rangers!

Ashton: Gor Gor, can you
please play see-saw with me here?

7 July: Chicken Head

The boys were introduced to hair gel, they were excited and insisted on styling their hair before going out. The pictures were taken about a year back.

I love my hair you know?

See the backview of my hair

Let me take a selfie first!

How do you like my hair?

Obviously the hair flopped under the humidity weather.

It was exactly one year ago when they went on the gel-on-hair craze on a Sunday when I joined them for an outing to expo to check out the car garage sales.

Obviously the key highlight at the exhibition hall was the ridiculously priced Ferrari series.

It was smart of the organizing committee to prepare treats for the children joining their parents. There were free servings of popcorns and candy floss. Someone wouldn't share with me and had his eyes fixed on his treats throughout....

Collon Biscuit Boys

For some reasons, the boys enjoy tidbits that are strawberry flavoured and this includes the colon biscuits. For me, this brand remains a luxury item as the price of this pack of biscuit seems to have remained constant over all these years. Even though it is considered cheap, somehow, at the back of my mind, I tend to regard this biscuit as something "premium". LOL!

Here are the poster boys!

For some reason I can no longer remember, Ashton cried and Gor Gor remained unfazed by the cries of his little brother.

I guess Cayden knew it was a "passing shower". See how cheeky Ashton became in less than a moment!

Cayden wanted to do a mock shock with his limbs extending out from the back of his brother. This attempt failed obviously.... All Ashton was interested in was what time he would be allowed to open up the box of biscuit.

Ouch (again)...!

One morning, Ashton called for me and he pointed his third finger at me. At the same time, he went "Aunty Linda, my finger is painful.".

So I took his little hand and asked how exact the pain feels and he showed me the peeling.

Cayden took the opportunity to shared a splinter that went under his thumb long time ago... There you go, a bunch of people with minor problems on their fingers. :(
