Hair Cut
In preparation for the upcoming Chinese New Year, Cayden was taken to the Saloon 88 where he has his first shave done. Last night, he was there again but he fought fiercely this time.

Fell Sick Again
Cayden fell sick again lately and when I saw him over the weekend, he had a streak of mucus running down from his right nostril. He resisted when we tried wiping that streak off. Seems that he is doing well as of last evening. Despite his runny nose, he was in high spirits when he played catching. He gets excited when he knows you are chasing after him and when he reaches a dead end, he knows he needs to get back to you and the game continues (at the expense of our poor back!)...!
It has been a while since we used the medicated "Ru Yi Oil" on Cayden and two days ago, he accidentally tasted it! According to the older folks, Ru Yi oil is safe for consumption.... and instead of crying Cayden actually enjoyed the taste and asked for more! He just went on whistling (as if he ate something spicy) but never reacted negatively against the oil... My gosh! He really loves to eat and he eats anything!

Catching!
My back is breaking!!!! Maybe I should say "OUR BACKS ARE BREAKING!".
Cayden is learning to walk. I spent a good half an hour bending down supporting him while he balanced himself and took small steps forward. It's evident how many people are supporting him while he tries to walk. Here's Cayden with Daddy:
He enjoys himself especially playing catching with his parents, Aunty Yangming and me. The steps are simple. All you need to do is to say "CAYDEN, CAYDEN! Caaaaaaaaaaaaaaayden!!!" and Cayden will scream and starts running forward. Cayden also found a lazy way to go around the apartment and that's on his new toy (a wooden trolley with wooden playing blocks in it). Look at the level of attention we have to give to him if he wants to be on it (check out Mummy's hands)....

New Year New Tricks
Happy New Year!!
He's growing well and is getting heavier each day. Over the past two weekends, I realised my shoulders and back are aching from carrying Cayden. Regardless Cayden has progressed so much and he looks like a little adult. He did so many amazing things:

- Crawling on four,
- Crawling out of the mattress on the floor,
- Talking (he went da da da da da da da da da da da da da....),
- Doing the victory hand sign,
- Checking out everything that interests him (both sides of the foldable kitchen door and mummy's hair clip).
