His Latest (Temporary) Squeeze

Everything Cayden does these days is almost about what Barney does in the DVD. In the past months since he started taking a fancy on Barney, Cayden never asked for a Barney soft toy. We concluded that Cayden doesn't like such girlie stuffs. On the second last day that Auntie Janet was around, we all took a quick walk a BHG at Bugis and Cayden refused to let go of the Barney stuff toy. We paid for it eventually. :D
Even when he goes out or takes a nap, Barney follows....... Some may ask: "What about Tortise?". The answer is Kuma the tortise remains his only comfort toy. :)

Love-Hate Relationship

According to Cayden's mum, Cayden misses Uncle Sam alot... He has been calling Uncle Sam since he arrived in Dubai! Seeing cars and throughout anytime of the day, he will call for Uncle Sam. The adults are helpless! How did Uncle Sam respond? "Ask him to write me a postcard if he misses me that badly.". I supposed this is what is known as love-hate relationship....Before Cayden left for Dubai, he avoided Uncle Sam at all costs. But now when they are far away from each other, he misses Uncle Sam. Let's see if Cayden will give Uncle Sam a big hug when he returns back to Singapore.

Mimicking Papa & Grandpa

He certainly knows how important it is to read face and body language. Lately, he was scolded because of his attempts to test our patience through many means and ways. Grandpa got angry and so did Papa.... See how much he realise what it means when Grandpa and Papa mean business.

DUMP vs. JUMP!

This question was recently posted to Cayden: "Who taught you to jump on the mattress?". He replied: "Ah Gong!". Grandma and us originally didn't believe because judging at Grandpa's old age, it was not possible that Grandpa demostrated bouncing on the mattress. So we asked Cayden again: "Who taught you jumping?" and his reply remained consistent. True enough. Grandpa was the one encouraging him to jump on the mattress. Each time when Cayden bounced on the bed, he rattles "DUMP". Initially we were puzzled then we realised he meant JUMP! This jumping thrill probably started ages ago and got magnified over the weekend when we were at Vivocity.

He is leaving with grandparents, papa and mama to Dubai for 3 months tomorrow... How we will miss (him *AHEM*) corrections: THEM!
