Cayden returned from his trip and I finally saw him on Friday evening!
He picked up new skills and obviously he created a scene at home because he was simply irressistable! Cayden is able to mimick a cow, a kangeroo and a dog!
I am glad that Cayden was able to play with big dogs at close proximity. Uncle Chris has a golden retriever (named Honey) in Australia and Cayden had a great time bonding with the Honey. Honey allowed Cayden to poke her, pulled her ears and allowed Cayden to leaned on her while he sits on the carpet. Obviously Cayden missed Honey even now. Cayden has this soft toy dog at home and has treated the toy as Honey. Whenever we ask him "Where's Honey?", he looked for the soft toy and then if he is in a good mood, he will kiss the toy! *LOVELY*
Cayden had the opportunity to see kangeroos, Horses, Cows and Emus live! He was deeply facsinated with the hopping skills of kangeroos. When we asked how does kangeroo hops, Cayden stands on his feet and attempts to jump on the spot twice (each time). When we asked how cow moos, Cayden pouts his lips and looks at you! This behaviour is somewhat similar to boo-boo skills he mastered when he was younger. Nonetheless, Cayden uses the moo-moo skill to express his dissatisfaction. When Uncle Sam attempted to cuddle Cayden, Cayden didn't enjoy that moment and did a moo-moo face to express his unhappiness! *SMART*
Fortunately the trip has proven to be an educational one for Cayden and there are evident signs that Cayden is learning well. :) Cayden is able to remember most things lately. He is able to identify Uncle Sam, Aunty Linda, Aunty Janet and HONEY!
Let's plan for his next trip... to Dubai...?
