First Trip to Airport & First Piece of Ear Wax

Cayden made his first trip to Airport two Tuesday ago to send off his Yangming (Beauty) Aunt left for her US internship. He was sooooooooo happy!

His inquisitive nature took over him and he did not sleep much. He made noises so that he could be carried around.

Cayden says, "I want to go there...!"

Earlier that morning, Cayden cried so loudly like never before. It surprised our family so much that they thought Cayden fell off the bed. Everyone rushed into the bedroom and was glad to see him still crying on the bed. They wondered why because Cayden never cried this loud before. Just when they were checking if he poo-ed or urinated, they discovered something next to his ear.... a piece of ear wax about one third the size of a five cents coin!

The GrandParents Ear Wax Theory applied here is:

"The motion of ear wax dropping out from baby's ear and landing on the bed next to a sleeping baby could have resulted in a loud thud in the ears of baby. This is due to the proximity of the ear wax landing location and the ear drum of baby. This created the confusion in baby thinking that something huge landed next to him and the confusion disturbed the baby's sleep. Due to these confusions and irritation, the baby is woken up in cries."

Constipated....

Poor Cayden! He was suffering from constipation three days back. He didn't poo until last night.

Thanks to Big Aunty who massaged his tummy, Cayden finally was able to poo (and fart) normally again last night. Our poor Connoisseur had to change his diapers thrice to clear those in his tummy. According to Big Aunty, at one point, Cayden was frightened by his own fart (which is usually loud anyway) and he started crying. He must have felt so uncomfortable to be swimming in his own poo.

I received a MMS this noon from Big Aunt who was desperately trying to prove to me that Cayden poo-ed alot. Before that I was pretty sceptical but after seeing the picture, I was totally convinced that Cayden poo-ed alot. Gosh! The sight was gruesome for it looks like a bowl of japanese curry with a slab of uncooked tender chicken thigh (aka Cayden's ass). *Pardon my description* (^.^)v

Despite not knowing why he constipated, Cayden is back to his usual happy and smiley self. I am glad his condition improved before the weekend and I could be assured to see a happy baby this Sunday. *YIPPEE*

CRUEL MOM

I can't believe how cruel Cayden's mum can be!!!!

She said she'll use Dynamo (liquid detergent for laundry) on Cayden when washing his hair.

Then she made him put on different hairstyles everyday. The worst style she has ever given Cayden was a Center Parting look. She took a picture and used that as her handphone wall paper and laughs at it whenever she sees it. Though I have that picture as a wall paper, I merely look at it and smile... Mummy Irene ROARS WITH LAUGHTER!

Good thing Cayden still has loving Father, Grandparents, Aunties and Uncle.

Maiden Voyage to Edelweiss

Cayden visited Edelweiss on Sunday. It was his maiden voyage. :)

He came in the romper I bought from Carrefour! So cute... As usual, he arrived asleep (with eyes half opened).

Somehow, I was accussed of disturbing Cayden from his sleep and was not allowed anywhere near him until dinner was over. :( For several hours, I could only see Cayden from far away and not allowed to go near him...

He spent most of the time sleeping on the sofa and in the guest room (enjoying the aircon). I guess he really enjoyed the lying on the guest room bed because his facial expressions said so! Eventually none of us wanted to leave him in the room and started taking pictures with him.

Oh... did you notice some key people are missing from the pictures? It was because Grandparents, Daddy YT and Uncle Gor Gor Sam were busy playing mahjong in the living hall. HUAT AH!!!!

Latest Vital Statistics

Cayden had his vaccination today.

As part of the routine, he has his vital statistics taken! He made remarkable progress physically in less than 2 months. :)

Weight: 4.8 kg (put on 2 kg in less than 2 months!)

Height: 54 cm (grew taller by 4 cm)

Head Circumference: 36.5 cm

Guess what are his techniques for growing so fast and strong?

The Angels must have given extra attention to our Meatball in dreamland for he just sleeps...

Confusion

I am confused!

I cannot recognize my nephew!!!

I can't believe how much Cayden grows everyday. For the past two days, I've been receiving MMS on how satisfied he looks after his finishes his milk and each picture is different!

Baby Fashion @ Carrefour

I never realised what Carrefour could offer in terms of babies items but I found something. Something cute among the baby fashion Carrefour carries.

I could not imagine how adorable Cayden would be in this! I hope he would be able to fit in and wear it for a few times at least before he outgrows the romper. The baseball and glove is soooooooo cute (check out the logo)!

Anyway, Da and I have a list of items to get for Cayden.. and I finally said "SHAMPOO"!!! Cayden perspire so much and everytime when I kiss him on his head, I could not find the usual Baby smell (which is a combination of baby shower cream, baby powder and milk etc..)... I usually smell a concoction of baby powder and perspiration.
