He juz got his 1st lantern. We bring him carry lantern on Sunday nite.
Oh boy! Cayden is celebrating Mid Autumn Festival with us this year and he has a lantern. The first thoughts that crossed my mind was "Damned! It must be a battery-operated lantern that comes with some cheesy melody!". I had the opportunity to return to Clementi two days after receiving the SMS and I was delighted to find out that the music coming out from the lantern was not at all cheesy and it was nursery rhyme. PHEW! I was even amused to see how huge the lantern was and my dear Cayden could carry it with one hand. Grandma couldn't help feeling so proud that her grandson grew so strong.
We are proud of Grandma's ability to keep Cayden cubby these while. In fact, a secret recipe in keeping him so round and adorable is a balanced diet. Cayden has been eating a big bowl of porridge everyday (and even everyone says he usually eats more than me most evening).
Over Sunday, Grandma cooked too much of the fish porridge and I was ordered to clear the remaining portion from the pot. Cayden's caregivers always ensure he gets a wide array of food including rice cereal, broccolli, ikan billis, sweet potatoes and fish. The best part after feeding him is to see how big Cayden's stomach grows. It is certainly round and big!
